Josh Midgett - Chief Executive Officer
Josh received his Business Administration degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and is now responsible for contract development, managing finances, and vocational services. Josh's favorite part about his job is working with great people, both those ILC serves and the team of employees. Josh is originally from Alliance, Nebraska and in his spare time he enjoys hunting, fishing, flying, and time with family.
William Arrants - President
William oversees residential services. He considers his role at ILC a dream come true. He enjoys the relationship he builds with both those ILC Supports and ILC's employees. William is originally from Alliance, Nebraska, and has several interests outside of his work. These include: baseball, golf, and spending time with his dog "Grayson", video games, and cooking. His biggest personal accomplishment is his Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Management, and working in Human Services since the age of 15.
Bev Mayfield - Director of Quality Improvement
A strong advocate for individuals' rights, Bev has over 25 years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities. Formally a Program Specialist with the State of Nebraska, she worked at BSDC, was a Service Coordinator and worked for Regulation and Licensure. Her responsibilities at ILC include all aspects of improving quality of services and activities such as mock certification reviews and the development of policy and procedures to meet State and Federal Regulations. Bev is also developing a rights handbook. Bev is married, lives in Beatrice and has 3 daughters. Her hobbies include golfing, reading, movies and traveling. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Doane College of Lincoln. Marla Bruder - Program Specialist
Marla is responsible for writing and monitoring individual behavior and management of programs. Her favorite thing about working at ILC is that there's never a boring day. "If you are having a bad day, someone will say something that will turn your day around." In her spare time, Marla likes to spend time with her family and watch Lincoln Stars Hockey. She considers her biggest personal accomplishments to be her marriage of 26 years and her two wonderful daughters.
Tammy Midgett - Case Manager Coordinator
Tammy is responsible for tracking all medical appointments and medications for individuals that ILC supports. "My favorite part of working at ILC is all the wonderful faces I see on a daily basis; each day is different and it's never boring." Outside of work, Tammy likes spending time with her husband and sons, camping, and reading.
Tara Williams - Case Manager
A dependable member of the ILC team, Tara Williams’ promotion to Case Manager is no surprise. Through her years as a DSP, Tara garnered immeasurable experience working with our individuals and feels that the best part about working with ILC is “the fun of building long-lasting relationships”. Tara is responsible for setting the medical appointments for our individuals as well as monitoring the administration of their medications. In her spare time Tara enjoys spending time with her family, and is also a full time student currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Social Work.
Lisa Neddenriep – Director of Human Resources
As Human Resources Director, Lisa brings more than 6 years experience in the HR field to ILC. "I enjoy my position because I get to work with employees daily and assist them with any issues, concerns, or questions they may have. I also enjoy working at ILC because it is a great field to be a part of and I feel very fortunate to work with so many unique individuals." "I enjoy spending time with family, reading, running, going to movies, cooking and just relaxing. My biggest accomplishment so far is my son."Lisa holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Master's in Business Administration with concentration in HR.
Karisa Roberts – Hiring Manager
Since coming aboard in 2012, Karisa has proven herself to be a strong asset to the growth of ILC. Among her duties, Karisa handles the interviewing and processing of our new applications as well as conducting our job fairs. “I love being a part of a company who is doing such a great thing for people with developmental disabilities.” “My favorite part of my job is the interaction I have with our great employees as well as our individuals.” Originally from Norfolk, Karisa is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor’s in Child, Youth & Family Studies and a minor in Psychology. Karisa says her biggest accomplishment is running 2 half-marathons. “…even 3 in a couple of weeks!” In her spare time, Karisa likes sporting events, shopping and oh yeah, running. Most importantly, she loves spending time with her husband and family.
Shanda McClaren - Grand Island Area Director
Shanda appreciates ILC's focus on assisting individuals to be more independent by encouraging them to make their own decisions. Literally, to be "Captains" of their own lives. In addition to studies in Psychology with Kearney State College, Shanda has worked in the field of adults living with disabilities for 12 years. Shanda truly enjoys working with our unique individuals, the interactions and just being a part of enhancing others lives. "This is dedication returned two-fold". "The focus to increase opportunities for those we serve through community integration, habilitation, and actively advocating for better quality of living sets ILC apart in this field". Outside of work Shanda enjoys activities with her two sons, loves to travel and create new experiences. She's always on the go! Angela Ligtenberg - Omaha Area Director
An integral leader of our extension into Omaha, Angela brings a wide diversity of accomplishments to ILC with nearly 14 years of dedicated hands-on experience in the field of developmental disabilities. From working with youth shelter teens to day programs for adults and advocating for children with special needs at the University of Northern Iowa, Angela is well suited to campaign for our individuals at ILC Omaha. “I love being a part of the individual’s lives we serve. Seeing the growth and development that occurs when they move into an extended family home is very rewarding.” As Area Director, Angela’s responsibilities are managing our Omaha EFH program, networking, promotion and education. In her spare time Angela loves spending time with her husband, family and friends and enjoys plenty of summer fun from hiking, water skiing and kayaking to exploring our national parks. Angela holds a Masters in Social Work from The University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Joe Stilwell - Norfolk Area Director
ILC is excited to welcome Joe Stilwell as our new Area Director for Norfolk. Joe brings a versatility of experience in the human services field to ILC with his love for working with the developmentally disabled; a passion which began in 2004. “I’m excited to be a part of ILC. I really want to ‘dig in’ and make a difference.” Originally from Lexington, Indiana, Joe served 2 years in AmeriCorps after completing his liberal arts degree in Hanover, IN. Joe loves anything outdoors, word games and spending time with his wife, Beth.
Drew Johnson - Training Director
As director of training for ILC, Drew works to ensure all employees are trained in accordance with the Policy and Procedures of ILC and that staff receive additional training when necessary. Drew began his career in the developmental disabilities field in 2001 as a direct support professional. He received his teaching certification from UNL and is finishing his M.A. in education. Before working at ILC, Drew was an extended family home provider, and before that he was a middle school teacher at Beveridge Magnet School in Omaha. Drew enjoys working with current and new employees at ILC to help them better serve the individuals they support. Lindsay Parrish - Vocational Coordinator
Lindsay's job is to ensure the quality of lives of the individuals ILC serves on a daily basis by teaching work skills and seeking increased work opportunities for them. Lindsay's favorite part about working for ILC is the close knit atmosphere she works in. She also enjoys working with the individuals on a daily basis—each one of them has something unique to bring to the table. Lindsay is originally from Beatrice, Nebraska and is a very family-oriented person.
Sarah Strong - Residential Coordinator
Sarah has literally grown up with ILC. Since joining ILC in 2008 Sarah has graduated from DSP to Manager to Residential Program Manager and presently is one of our Residential Coordinators for Lincoln. Sarah oversees one half of our growing residential management team in Lincoln. “The best thing about working for ILC is being able to grow with the company as it changes; ILC seeks to provide innovative services which allow all of us to be creative, try new things and take on new challenges constantly.” Originally from Lincoln, Sarah is a graduate of Pius X High School and received her Bachelor’s in Psychology, with minors in Art and Spanish from Hillsdale College in Michigan. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends, traveling, reading, baking, and watching movies.
Tinera Bauer-Rust - Residential Coordinator
Promoted to Residential Coordinator in 2012, Tinera also oversees ILC’s Residential Transition Program, specifically designed to help reintegrate our individuals back into the community. A graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelors Degree in Sociology, Tinera originally hails from Geneva, NE. “I enjoy working for Integrated Life Choices because I feel I can make a difference in our individual's lives and I enjoy seeing them grow and reach their goals.” In her spare time Tinera likes to read, go for runs, and loves fishing and hunting.
Debbie Limberg - Administrative Assistant
Debbie has worked in the developmentally disabled field for over 13 years, and as an Administrative Assistant for over 5. She is responsible for general office duties, including mail routing, data entry, etc. Originally from Sikeston, Missouri, Debbie is also a licensed Cosmetologist and was the owner and stylist of Debbie Lynne’s Family Salon for 8 years. Prior to that she was owner and air-brush designer of Debbie’s Custom T-Shirts for 7 years. Debbie has 3 children, 9 grandchildren and 2 dogs, Pepper and Sadie. Her hobbies are camping and Karaoke.
Jeff Kuhl - Administrative Assistant
Jeff has been an administrative assistant in the human services field for 3 years and enjoys continuing that support for the executive and management team of ILC. “I’m thankful for the opportunity to work with such a dedicated staff and offer support to our community of adults living with disabilities.” A native Nebraskan, Jeff is also a professional musician and teacher and spends his evening hours at Harris Academy of the Arts teaching singing and piano to many talented artists. Jeff loves hanging with his family, singing, biking and fixing up his new home.
Adam Holle - Extended Family Home Coordinator-Lincoln
Adam's responsibilities include: overseeing the facilitation and monitoring of the habilitation offered to Extended Family Home individuals and visiting each home at least twice per month in order to ensure the individuals ILC serves are receiving the highest quality care. Adam has been employed at ILC since 2006 and enjoys his work environment because each person he works with has a common goal in helping others. Most of all, he enjoys working at ILC because of the rewarding experience received each day in assisting individuals in bettering themselves personally and socially. The satisfaction on a client's face after a personal accomplishment is very rewarding. In his spare time, Adam chases severe thunderstorms and tornadoes on a volunteer basis for the National Weather Service.
Denise Kraus - Extended Family Home Coordinator-Lincoln
"Every success an individual has is still a success no matter how small we see it." As one of ILC's Coordinators for Extended Family Home Services, Denise's responsibilities include preparing subcontracts between ILC and our Extended Family Providers, developing and implementing habilitative programming and visiting our individuals and their providers twice a month to ensure the quality of services ILC provides. Joining ILC in 2010, Denise enjoys what she does because she "can relate to each family on a personal level" as she too provides care in her home to an individual with disabilities. Most of all, she enjoys working at ILC because of the company's strong stand in putting our individuals first and to "provide the highest standard of care". When Denise is not working she is spending her time with her two little boys and husband.
Kellie Murphy - Extended Family Home Coordinator-Grand Island
“We know that equality of individual ability has never existed and never will, but we do insist that equality of opportunity still must be sought.” – Franklin D. Roosevelt. An Extended Family Home and Training Coordinator for Grand Island, Kellie has worked in the field of developmental disabilities for 3 years. “I am fortunate enough to love my job and the people with whom I work. I especially enjoy making a difference in someone’s life.” When not at ILC Kellie enjoys traveling, riding motorcycles, helping her dad on the farm, and spending time with her son. Kellie is also completing her nursing degree at Kaplan University.
Josh Becker - Extended Family Home Coordinator-Omaha
Josh joined the ILC team in early 2013 as an EFH Coordinator and Training Coordinator for our Omaha branch. Some of Josh’s responsibilities include monthly home visits, preservation of individual’s finances, developing and implementing habilitative programming, and the training and recertification of ILC employees. Originally from Ogallala, Josh has over 5 years experience in the Human Service field. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood from Wayne State College and taught preschool prior to joining ILC. In his spare time Josh loves golfing, bow-hunting deer and hunting with his bird-dog, Remi. He recently married the love of his life, Malissa, and looks forward to starting a family. “I am very excited and thankful to be part of such an amazing team of staff and individuals, and look forward to growing with ILC for years to come”.
Sarah DelaBarre - Supported Residential Manager
Sarah is the manager of 14 individuals who either live with their families or live in independent residences. With that comes supporting and managing a team of staff that goes into the homes of the individuals doing direct care. In addition, she contacts families and individuals daily to ensure Integrated Life Choices is assisting them in achieving their goals. Sarah considers her biggest personal accomplishment her job and her favorite part of working at ILC is the team of co-workers and being able to leave work knowing she has helped people. Sarah is from Lincoln, Nebraska and enjoys spending time with her son, reading and hanging out with friends.
Allie Steensnes – Supported Residential Manager
As one of our dedicated Managers of Supported Residential Services Allie oversees our individuals who both live with their families or in independent residences of their own. In addition to her prior experience as a DSP and Manager, Allie is especially focused with ensuring that ILC is providing our individuals and their families the best possible care. To Allie, daily contact with her families and individuals is very important. She believes that "the wonderful part about working at Integrated Life Choices is being able to help people live their lives to the fullest". Allie has a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and when not at work, she loves spending time with her family.
Kayleigh Cartmill - Vocational Manager
Kayleigh is the Vocational Manager for ILC’s South 57th location and is also the Manager of the ILC 17th Street Candle Shop. Originally from Waverly, NE, Kayleigh has worked in the developmental disabilities field for 7 years. Her favorite part about her job is seeing the daily progress her individuals make and working with a great team. In her free time Kayleigh enjoys spending time with her two children and camping with friends.
Krystal Hall - Vocational Manager
Krystal is a Vocational Manager at ILC's Arapahoe Street location. Krystal's goal is to assist our individuals in creating job opportunities by teaching and improving their work skills. Some of the additional responsibilities Krystal currently oversees are making "burnless" candles, memory boards and tie-dyed t-shirts for the ILC candle shop. The individuals also enjoy volunteering for Tabitha delivering food with Meals on Wheels. Krystal's favorite part of working at ILC is knowing she has helped make a difference in the lives of the people we serve. Krystal's greatest personal achievement is her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology with a Minor in Sociology from Doane College. Originally from Falls City, Nebraska Krystal enjoys swimming, boating, camping and reading in her spare time.
Sean Davis - Vocational Manager
As the Vocational Manager for ILC's headquarters office, Sean oversees the day to day operations and activities for 32 of our individuals as well as managing his staff of 15 of our dedicated direct support professionals. Chief among the duties Sean and his staff perform is teaching job skills to our individuals to better prepare them for work in the community. Joining the staff in 2006 Sean enjoys working at ILC because he feels he can "make a difference in our individual's lives". A native of Sterling, NE, Sean loves to go hunting, camping, playing sports and riding his quad.
Roger Doerr - Vocational Manager
A veteran of more than 10 years in the field of developmental disabilities, Roger brings a diverse and dedicated background to the individuals he serves. Joining ILC in 2010, Roger quickly earned the position of manager for our Emerald Acres Vocational farm. “ILC is a great place to work. I feel the services we provide are unique and tailored to each individual’s needs”. A native Nebraskan Roger has his criminal justice degree from UNO and a Masters in Business Administration from UNL. “I enjoy mountain biking and hiking with my free time but my favorite thing is just spending time with my daughter”.
Shawna Knoop - Vocational Manager - Beatrice
Originally from Beatrice, Shawna joins ILC as Manager of our Beatrice vocational center. A graduate of Midland University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Shawna began working with ILC in February 2011 and joined our management staff within the year. “My favorite part about working at ILC is I’m continuously learning something new. I love that each individual is unique and that everyone at ILC is team-oriented. I love to know I’m making someone else’s life better”. When not working, Shawna loves watching the Detroit Lions and Oklahoma City Thunder and spending quality time with her family.
Eric Harmes - Residential Manager
Taking the helm of our Whitewater locations, Eric is a welcome addition to ILC’s management staff. With 4 years experience in the field of developmental disabilities, Eric’s leadership skills stand out. He holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology degree from UNL and is currently pursuing his Masters in counseling from Doane College. “I really love working at ILC and enjoy assisting the individuals in obtaining their goals and living a meaningful life”. In his spare time, Eric likes camping, art, music, cars and the Huskers and Yankees. Welcome aboard Eric!
Nate Gloria - Residential Manager
Nate has been employed with ILC for 2 years and has recently been named Manager of our Vale and West Thatcher residences. "I learn much about myself in this field every day, and I look forward to seeing the people I care for succeed." Nate loves spending his free time outdoors and playing baseball.
Charissa Sieron - Residential Manager
As Manager of our Breckenridge A&B residences, Charissa has proven herself to be a real asset to ILC and to the “awesome” individuals for which she cares. Originally from Marysville, Kansas, Charissa has been in the Human Services field for 8 years. After joining ILC almost 3 years ago, she continues to inspire her “great group of guys”. “Every day is a new challenge and I love it. The support I get from my fellow managers and staff is amazing.” In her free time, Charissa enjoys crafts, music and camping and has been married for 3 years to “my wonderful guy.”
Megan Denman - Residential Manager
Megan is the Residential Manager of our South 41st and 7415 Whitewater locations. Joining ILC in 2008, Megan brings more than 10 years of experience in the care of individuals with disabilities. In her spare time, Megan loves spending it with her 6-yr old daughter and their 3 cats and 2 dogs and is a fan of do-it-yourself projects. She also has a passion for painting, drawing and wood working.
Preston Creek - Residential Manager
Originally from Beatrice, Preston joined ILC in 2010 and has quickly become a dependable leader. With experience in the human services field since 2006 Preston is a great addition to the ILC management staff and handles the lead responsibilities of our North 16th and Waverly Road locations. “I enjoy seeing the individuals succeed in all aspects of life, knowing that I helped make that difference.” Preston loves the outdoors and spending time with his family and his individuals.
Shane Bastron-Vocational Manager-Grand Island
A Vocational Manager for our South Vocational site in Grand Island, Shane has been working for ILC since 2010 when it opened in Grand Island. “My goal is to continue finding meaningful and exciting vocational task for the individuals we serve. I enjoy getting to know and watching the individuals grow that I work with, there's never a dull moment.” Outside of work, Shane enjoys hanging out with family and friends, reading, and going to concerts. .
Jessica Scheer - Residential Manager-Grand Island
Jessica joins the ILC team as Grand Island’s Residential Manager. She has been in the human services field for over 13 years and graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Social Work from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Her favorite part of working at ILC is the people. “I admire ILC’s philosophy and its approach to improving the lives of those with disabilities. The people, both coworkers and individuals make me truly love my job.” When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children doing things like fishing, riding ATV’s, camping and being outdoors.
